Lisburn, Northern Ireland’s former World Champions, Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band are led by Pipe Major Matthew Wilson to the Grade One Arena at the World Pipe Band Championships 2026 stage on Glasgow Green to perform their Medley set for a worldwide audience on Day One of the highly anticipated competition, proudly wearing the Drumalig tartan.
In August each year, tens of thousands of people travel from all corners of the world to Glasgow, Scotland for this esteemed event featuring the world’s top ranking bagpipe bands performing in competition.
